The Joe Clark Residential Care Home is licensed with the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services as a Residential Care Facility II. A "Residential Care" facility provides "Assisted Living" services, which means that the resident is partially capable of living independently on a daily basis, but requires some assistance with daily personal care tasks, such as medication administration, bathing, meal preparation, housekeeping, etc. In addition to assistance with daily personal care tasks, the apartment suite, utilities (except private telephone), basic Cable TV, all meals and snacks, housekeeping services, weekly hair care in our beauty salon (includes nail care for the ladies, but does not include permanents) or barber shop and daily activities are provided for the resident to enjoy, and included in the rates below. Applicants must exhibit the ability "to negotiate a path to safety, either unassisted or with assistive devices". Assistive devices can include a walker, wheelchair or cane, but cannot include another person. Our staff complete a thorough admissions process which is designed to make certain that the needs of the resident can be met appropriately, and that a high quality of life is maintained and enjoyed.
*Public assistance programs are available. Contact Barry G. Clark.
